Mike has been at Radio Saltire for 4 years and regularly presents the Thursday & Friday Breakfast Show.  He also pops up regularly on Community Matters - Radio Saltire's mid-week community magazine programme. 

Mike was recruited by Scott Gillies who had come across Mike in one of his other guises as a Quizmaster!  He joined mainly because he loves playing and listening to all kinds of music but also because he is really passionate about the "community" aspect of Radio Saltire. 

Mike's favourite musical artists range across Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, The Who etc etc! His guilty pleasure is chocolate and any flavour of ice cream!  His pet peeve is misuse of apostrophes (he's a retired English Teacher!).
